It started in the workshop
As an experienced cabinet maker, our founder Stu has always held a passion for detail & design. From a young age, he understood the importance of quality materials, impeccable finishes, and the expertise required for flawless installation. However, even with this passion, there was something missing from the workshop: you, the customer.
During lockdown, we set out to create a showroom-free process that seamlessly delivers unrivalled quality & service at exceptional value. We became hooked on surprising & delighting customers with what can be achieved in their homes and Gabriel Kitchen Design was born. We’re now one of the fastest-growing independent kitchen specialists in the Northwest.

We provide a free home consultation for every project.
We’ll visit your home with a selection of samples, take the measurements and discuss any design ideas you already have, exploring solutions together before the design process begins.
If your project requires building work before the kitchen installation, we can coordinate this for you.
We won’t rush the process as we want you to feel confident that we have created the best possible design for your space. We do this in two stages.
We work on the layout first, ensuring that it’s both practical and beautiful. You will receive CAD designs to discuss in your own time.
We provide full price transparency from the outset, with no surprises or hidden costs.
Next, we select your materials, appliances & accessories. After this, you will then receive your quote.
With a background in cabinet making, we understand the importance of quality craftmanship at every stage of the installation.
We also know that the installation comes with some disruption to family life, which we aim to limit as much as possible.
Our installation team has been carefully selected to ensure the highest quality standards & reliability.
We offer a wide range of standard paint colours.
We can also offer a bespoke colour service when an exact shade is required, sprayed bespoke for you.
You may already have a colour in mind that has been inspired by your favourite paint brand, if so, we can match it.
We can offer bespoke cabinets that are made to your exacting dimensions. Some properties have awkward features that are difficult to work around when only using the standard sizes available from high-street retailers. We can create custom solutions to overcome these challenges.
We can also create feature cabinets such as pantries, dressers & drinks cabinets.
To offer the best value for money, we limit our overheads by operating without a showroom. Bigger brands must build in additional costs to cover showroom & high marketing overheads. Our model allows us to offer big savings compared to the national brands and typical high-street retailers.
We offer you a smarter way to buy a luxury kitchen – not a compromised one.
We have made the compromise on showroom premises, so you don’t have to compromise on the quality of materials or workmanship. We have a background in cabinet making, instilling high quality standards that our work must always adhere to.
You will also reap the benefits of beginning the design process in your own home, as opposed to a showroom. It’s much easier to envision ideas when we are stood in the space we are working with.
We offer the choice of having your cabinets handmade by the very same workshop that Stu (our founder) honed his skills. We know this product very well! British cabinetmaking is steeped in rich history and we are proud to support our industry & talented craftspeople.
Whether bespoke or not, we aim to source as much as we can from local manufacturers. Our doors & cabinets are almost exclusively sourced from manufacturers in the North West.
This also means that we can offer excellent lead times and the quick resolution of any (unlikely) issues.
